Posted Jun 3, 2016
Robert Woodard has resigned as the pitching coach of the Virginia Tech baseball team, according to the school. The Hokies had the worst ERA (6.49) in the ACC this year, when injuries to two key pitchers plagued the staff. Woodard had previously been a player and assistant at UNC and an assistant UNCW before being hired by Tech in the summer of 2013.
