Bengals extend running back Giovani Bernard for $15.5M

The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Wednesday afternoon that they reached a deal with running back Giovani Bernard to extend his contract through the 2019 season. The Enquirer has confirmed from a league source that the deal is worth $15.5 million, and Bernard's salary will rise from just over $1 million in base earnings this season to around $6 million.
