California graduate transfer Jordan Mathews plans to visit N.C. State next Thursday, according to ESPN. Another possible option for backcourt help next season is class of 2016 point guard Markell Johnson, who took an official recruiting visit to Raleigh this week. Another transfer of interest is guard Malik Newman, who is leaving Mississippi State after his freshman season.
