Nick Weatherspoon creating his own name before UNC visit

Basketball people know who Nick Weatherspoon is these days and it’s no longer because of his older brother. Weatherspoon has flourished with an improved mid-range jumper and tenacious defense in the AAU circuit this year. Weatherspoon has racked up significant offers recently, including Louisville, North Carolina and Ohio State. Along with UNC, he will visit N.C. State Sunday. (Jackson Clarion-Ledger)
