To understand the defensive progress UNC has made over the last couple of games, one needs to look past the opponents' physical talent and zero in on the Tar Heels' approach. When executed properly, half-court man-to-man defense should work something like a symphony. Sound complicated? It can be. It can also be a thing of true beauty when executed the way a teacher such as Roy Williams lays out the design.
