Tyler Ramirez, Zach Rice sign pro contracts

Tyler Ramirez and Zach Rice signed pro contracts this week after being selected in last week's MLB draft. Ramirez, who played the last three seasons at UNC, signed with the Oakland Athletics after being drafted in the seventh round last week. Rice, at one time a teammate of Ramirez's at UNC, was picked by the Atlanta Braves in the three-day MLB draft. (Virginian-Pilot)
