Reilly Hovis sheds nerves, pitches gem in pro debut

Reilly Hovis made his professional debut on Friday night after a year-long hiatus and his elbow on his mind. Despite the nervousness, Hovis got off to a strong start in the New York-Penn League season opener. He fanned the first batter of the game and faced the minimum through five innings, totaling two strikeouts without issuing a walk.
