Tennessee cancels classes for football opener because game-day traffic is awful

If you needed another reminder that college football is king in the Southeastern Conference, then Tennessee just provided one. The school has canceled classes for the football team’s season opener against Appalachian State on Thursday, Sept. 1, at Neyland Stadium, the university announced Tuesday.
