Pittsburgh Pirates call up catcher Jacob Stallings

The Pittsburgh Pirates promoted catcher Jacob Stallings from Class AAA Indianapolis before Sunday’s game, adding insurance at the position with Chris Stewart dealing with various injuries. Stallings was hitting .199/.242/.340 in 153 plate appearances with Indianapolis. Jason Rogers was optioned back to Indy to make room. The 40-man roster is now full.
