UNC’s Hayley Carter Named ACC Women’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year

UNC junior Hayley Carter has been named the 2016 ACC Women’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Commissioner John Swofford announced Thursday. Carter was the 2016 ACC Player of the Year and ACC Women’s Championship MVP. Carter earned the No. 1 seed in the singles bracket of the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the title match.
