Point guard Markell Johnson signs with N.C. State


Point guard Markell Johnson signed with N.C. State’s basketball program Monday. The 6-foot-1 Johnson, who averaged 31.2 points per game for East Tech High School in Cleveland, plans to reclassify and be eligible for the Wolfpack in 2016-17. He is listed as the nation's 58th-best prospect in the Class of 2016, according to the composite rankings from 247Sports. (Fayetteville Observer)
