Brandan Wright Named ACC Rookie Of The Week

Freshman Brandan Wright was named the ACC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 18. In earning the league's rookie award for the third time this season, Wright scored 21 points and had nine rebounds in the Dec. 16 win over UNC Asheville. The Nashville, Tenn., product went seven-for-nine from the floor, pulled down five offensive rebounds and was the game's leading scorer and rebounder. (Tar Heel Blue)
