Nets guard Wayne Ellington opts out, will become an unrestricted free agent

Wayne Ellington has opted out of the final year of his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent, reports Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders. The 28 year-old shooting guard will forgo the player option on his deal and test the market, declining another year at 1.5 million. (The Brooklyn Game)
