USA Wins Gold at FIBA U17 World Championship, Collin Sexton Named MVP

The U.S. U17 team won the gold medal at the FIBA U17 World Championship on Sunday with a 96-56 thrashing of Turkey in Zaragoza, Spain. Gary Trent Jr. led the Americans with 17 points as the U.S. notched the biggest winning margin in a U17 final, besting the 31-point blowout of Poland in 2010. Collin Sexton notched 16 points and eight assists and was named MVP of the World Championship.
