Mets starter Matt Harvey considering season-ending surgery after shoulder diagnosis

Matt Harvey’s season is in jeopardy after tests revealed thoracic outlet syndrome in his throwing shoulder. New York Mets general manager Sandy Alderson told reporters Thursday that he believes surgery is inevitable, a procedure that would require a four-month recovery period. (USA Today)
