Roy Williams familiar with the defeats

If you coach enough games to win 500 of them, as North Carolina’s has, then there’s always the flip side. “I can remember the losses pretty darn good, too,” Williams said. Williams became a member of the 500-victory club Saturday afternoon when the Tar Heels defeated High Point. Now in his 19th season, he has a 500-125 record. “With each and every one of the 100 milestones, it probably means a little bit more,” Williams said. (Jacksonville Daily News)
