UNC OL John Ferranto Sidelined for 2016 Season

Senior offensive lineman John Ferranto is expected to miss the bulk of the 2016 football season due to an undisclosed injury, according to multiple sources. Ferranto, a fifth-year senior out of Burlington, N.J., had surgery on Wednesday. The versatile 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman started 17 games at left tackle during the 2014-15 seasons and logged time at guard last season as well.
