Posted Jul 18, 2016
Carolina Blue is a symbolic and beloved shade that, for many alums and UNC fans, immediately conjures up images of the school, the Carolina sports teams and a sense of community. Carolina Blue has a long history tied to the culture of this university. The use of a distinctive light blue in association with UNC began not long after the first students arrived on campus in 1795.
