Posted Jul 18, 2016
A month after visiting Chapel Hill, Andrew Platek decided to end his recruitment. The 6-4 senior guard from Northfield (Mass.) Mount Hermon chose the Tar Heels over offers from Indiana, Stanford, Miami and others. Platek took an unofficial visit to UNC on June 13 and raved about the experience. "It's an unbelievable place," he said. "It was a gorgeous day outside so the campus looked even better than normal."
