Davis adds Cleveland running back to UNC's class

Butch Davis returned to Cleveland, Ohio, his home for the past six years, to land his first recruit as North Carolina's football coach - Matt Merletti, a versatile offensive prospect. Merletti is a 5-11, 195-pound senior at St. Ignatius High School. Merletti is the first recruit Davis has landed on his own since taking over at North Carolina on Nov. 26.
