Local legend, NBA star Vince Carter approaches 40 with a 2-year plan

Ever since leading the Mainland Bucs to the 1995 state title and winning Florida’s “Mr. Basketball” award, Vince Carter has continued collecting accolades and the occasional hardware that accompanies them. He’s been the NBA Rookie of the Year (1999), won Olympic gold (2000) and played in eight All Star games (2000-2007).
