Butch Davis adds to UNC staff


The North Carolina football team officially hired one assistant coach Tuesday and appears close to adding another. UNC coach announced the hiring of Charlie Williams, who coached wide receivers at Arizona from 2004-06, as an offensive assistant. Meanwhile, Nebraska defensive line coach will join UNC's staff pending the completion of contract details, according to a report on Web site of the Lincoln (Neb.) Journal Star. (Durham Herald-Sun)
