Des Lawrence excited for big senior season with improved UNC defense

Cornerback Des Lawrence enters his senior season at North Carolina more mature and intent on making headlines on the field rather than off the field. He was one of four Tar Heels suspended for one game at the start of his sophomore season because of an off-campus altercation involving the team. “I’ve settled down,” Lawrence said Thursday at ACC Kickoff.
