Elijah Hood picked Third in ACC Football Player of the Year Poll

UNC junior running back Elijah Hood was picked to finish third in the ACC's 2016 Preseason Player of the Year Poll. A Charlotte native, Hood started all 14 games for the Tar Heels in 2015. He carried the ball 219 times for 1,463 yards, and 17 touchdowns. Hood averaged 6.7 yards per carry on the way to All-ACC honors.
