Tuesday Talking Points
Posted Dec 12, 2006
Opponents are making 37.7% of their 3-pointers, which would be the highest opposing figure since 1992. Since the current 3-point line came into existence for the 1986-87 season, Carolina has allowed a higher figure than 37.7% only twice. The 37.7 figure would be the highest against a Roy Williams-coached team since his first year in coaching--Kansas opponents made 41.1% of their trifectas during the 1988-89 season.
