By the Numbers: Elijah Hood is an elite running back

UNC running back Elijah Hood hasn't received the same hype as other big-time running backs, but Hood's numbers clearly show he is one of the games' elite. Hood rushed for 1,463 yards and 17 touchdowns last season. His 17 touchdowns ranked sixth among players from power five conferences. Hood found the end zone about every 13 carries, on average.
