North Carolina assistant coaches Danny Pearman and Dave Brock will not be retained, a UNC official confirmed to Inside Carolina. Brock, who joined the program in 2005, was the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator for the Tar Heels last season. Pearman, who coached defensive ends, had spent one season in the program. They are the fourth and fifth assistants to be let go by new head coach Butch Davis.
