New North Carolina football coach Butch Davis has chosen not to retain assistant coaches Danny Pearman and Dave Brock, a team spokesman said today. Pearman, who served one year under former coach John Bunting as defensive ends coach, has one year left on his contract for $130,000, unless he finds another job.
