This weekend marks the two-month anniversary of UNC’s remarkable Memorial Day weekend in Philadelphia when the women’s and men’s lacrosse teams captured NCAA championships on successive days. The 72-hour period from the start of the women’s semifinal game on Friday until Chris Cloutier found the back of the net in overtime on Monday can be described as the stuff dreams are made of.
