Des Lawrence: Clemson gave the Tar Heels confidence to play with anyone

Despite the pejorative labels given to the Coastal Division, North Carolina senior cornerback Des Lawrence says the Tar Heels, the preseason No. 22 at Today’s U, are confident they can play with Clemson, Florida State, and even the defending national champion Alabama Death Star. Lawrence made reference to the Tar Heels’ confidence more than once at the ACC Kickoff last week.
