Forbes Promoted To Associate Head Coach

After spending seven successful seasons on the University of North Carolina baseball staff, Scott Forbes has been promoted to associate head coach, head coach Mike Fox announced Wednesday. Following a stint in Chapel Hill as an assistant from 1999-2002, Forbes has served as the Tar Heels' pitching coach for the last three seasons and has helped guide Carolina to three straight College World Series appearances.
