Saints pull the plug on Hakeem Nicks experiment

It’s not a good week for veteran receivers trying for one more chance in the NFC South. The same day Lance Moore retired from the Falcons, Hakeem Nicks was cut by the Saints. Coach Sean Payton announced the move after practice. Nicks’ comeback bid didn’t even make two weeks, as the Saints apparently didn’t see enough from him to continue. (NBC Sports)
