Malik Carney brings quickness and energy to UNC's defensive line


is a new name for North Carolina football. A redshirt sophomore, the 6-3, 230-pound defensive end has been getting first team reps as Dajaun Drennon continues to recover from a nagging injury. Carney played sparingly as a freshman, but will have an expanded role as a speed rush defensive end this season. (Carolina Blue)
