Wayne Ellington Named ACC Rookie Of The Week

Miami's Jack McClinton was named as the ACC Player of the Week, while North Carolina's Wayne Ellington was tabbed ACC Rookie of the Week. Ellington averaged 18.0 points as the Tar Heels posted wins over Ohio State and Kentucky. The Wynnewood, Pa., freshman scored 19 points in Wednesday's 98-89 win over the No. 1 Buckeyes and a team-high 17 points in Saturday's 75-63 victory over the Wildcats. (Tar Heel Blue)
