Nathan Elliott Named UNC Backup QB, Caleb Henderson to Transfer

Larry Fedora had seen enough to tab Nathan Elliott as the player most likely to step into the starting lineup if Mitch Trubisky is sidelined for any reason. Elliott, a three-star recruit out of Celina, Texas, made a move during spring practice to become Caleb Henderson’s primary competition for the No. 2 spot. The lefty has impressed with his decision-making and quickness.
