Hakeem Nicks Earns Freshman All-America Honors

University of North Carolina wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has been named to the Rivals.com freshman All-America second team. A 6-1, 210-pound native of Charlotte, Nicks set UNC freshmen records with 39 receptions and 660 yards while scoring four touchdowns. He led the Tar Heels in receiving despite missing one game with a sprained ankle. (Tar Heel Blue)
