Bryn Renner says goodbye to coaching and hello to Steelers

Bryn Renner thought he had started his life’s work as the first-year quarterback coach at Austin Peay. He had been released by San Diego on May 17 and drew no interest as a free agent. Austin Peay head coach Will Healy was agreeable to let Renner leave if he had another NFL opportunity. When the Steelers called, Renner decided to transition from coach to player.
