The Dooleys will be honored before Saturday’s Georgia-North Carolina game

Bill Dooley admired his big brother but liked nothing better than beating him – no matter what the game. He would go on to play at Mississippi State and was a coach there when Vince took the Georgia job in December 1963. The first person Vince wanted to hire was his brother who, despite his youth, was gaining a good reputation as an offensive line coach. It turned out to be a great career move for Bill Dooley.
