Mariners' Kyle Seager Extends hitting streak, sets new career high in homers

Kyle Seager went 3-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and two runs against the Rangers on Thursday. He's now hit safely in nine consecutive games and homered twice in the last three. The home run was Seager's 27th, a new career high, and his current .296 batting average is a nearly 30-point improvement over his previous career best in that category.
