The last time Cooper Rush and Jesse Kroll connected on a miraculous Hail Mary-and-lateral touchdown pass to end a game, it wasn’t a victorious ending for Central Michigan. You probably remember the play. It was the 2014 Popeyes Bahamas Bowl and Central Michigan trailed Western Kentucky 49-42 with one second left.
