Week Two Takeaways: UNC Defense

UNC's defense stepped up on the road against Illinois. Illini quarterback Wes Lunt was held to 17 for 35 passing for 127 yards and a 22.6 passer rating. Illinois was able to run the ball, but most of the yards came early in the game. The Illini ran the ball 36 times for 182 yards. Overall it was an improvement from the first game and a positive development for the season. (Carolina Blue)
