UNC defense: "It was on us to go out and execute"

The Tar Heels turned to their defensive leaders to settle them down. At halftime "Des (Lawrence) talked to everybody and reminded them that what we put out there in the first half wasn't who we were," junior linebacker Cayson Collins told CarolinaBlue. "Then Chizik came in and basically said the same thing. So we came out in the second half and fixed it." (Carolina Blue)
