Pitt Football opens ACC play at North Carolina

This is the 11th meeting between Pitt and North Carolina in a series that dates back to 1974…seven of the 10 games have been decided by single digits, including each of the last five contests...the Tar Heels lead the overall series, 7-3, and have won all three ACC encounters: 26-19 in Pittsburgh last season, 40-35 in Chapel Hill in 2014 and 34-27 in Pittsburgh in 2013.
