Freshman Dominique Ross primed for more reps

A bright spot for the UNC defense in the first half was was a second quarter sack for true freshman linebacker Dominique Ross. As both head coach Larry Fedora and defensive coordinator Gene Chizik told the media it was the first real play of note for the Tar heel defense. "That sack might have been the first stop we got all game," Chizik told reporters on Tuesday. (Carolina Blue)
