UNC-Pitt game could get "ugly" without better defense, Chizik says


After watching his unit surrender 495 yards and 28 points against FCS foe James Madison last week, North Carolina defensive coordinator issued a stern warning. "I thought we performed poorly,'' Chizik said. "That's probably being very kind. I thought we were soft. We've got to improve a lot this week, or this game could get ugly." (Fayetteville Observer)
