Pitt falls to North Carolina on last-second TD pass
Posted Sep 24, 2016
Pitt flirted with danger Saturday and the Panthers paid for it in the end, dropping a 37-36 decision to North Carolina in the ACC opener for both teams. North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky, at the end of a record-setting day, tossed a 2-yard touchdown pass to Bug Howard with 2 seconds left to add another disappointing loss to Pitt's long legacy of such games.
