UNC, Duke still have plenty at stake

Two woebegone football teams, both barely worthy of stepping onto the hallowed ground on which a Rose Bowl was once played, will end their seasons today when North Carolina plays Duke at Wallace Wade Stadium. The old rivals have combined for two wins in 22 games. North Carolina has both victories. John Bunting will coach his last game for North Carolina today after being fired Oct. 22, and Duke will try to avoid becoming the first ACC team to lose 12 games in one season.
