Zags Stun Tar Heels

Gonzaga bottled up and No. 2 North Carolina shot miserably from the three-point and free throw lines Wednesday, as the 23rd ranked Zags overcame an early 10-point deficit and upset the Tar Heels in the NIT Tip Off semifinals, 82-74. For the game, the Tar Heels (3-1)shot just 37.3 percent from the floor – including an abysmal 6-of-27 from beyond the arc – and 18-of-30 from the charity stripe. (Inside Carolina)
