Ashley Hoffman Named ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week

North Carolina sophomore Ashley Hoffman has been named the ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday. The Tar Heels swept the awards a week ago, with senior Julia Young earning the ACC Defensive Player of the Week honor, while senior Lauren Moyer was the Offensive Player of the Week. (GoHeels.com)
