In some ways, Virginia Tech is the best team the Tar Heels have faced. The first thing I noticed watching the Hokies’ opening game is the more sophisticated passing schemes Justin Fuente has brought to Blacksburg. VT among its pass catchers, counts at least three fine playmakers in Isaiah Ford, Cam Phillips, and Bucky Hodges.
